Waltzingmouse Stamps Feb Release - Day 1

Welcome to the first day of the Waltzingmouse Stamps Feb Release previews! The DT and I will be sharing projects over the next several days featuring NINE new stamp sets that will be available for purchase at the Waltzingmouse online store starting March 1. Today the DT is featuring French Country, Chicken Wire & Make Your Mark.

Je t'aime Card

Starting off with a fun card featuring only French Country. It's such a lovely set with many patterns and images. I couldn't decide exactly which ones to use so I used a whole bunch of them to create the patterns on the strips of paper. I love the scripty font - really works with the rest of the images and patterns in the set.

J'adore Card
For this card, I used the hearts from Make Your Mark to create a fun pattern. While this set is certainly great for "making your mark" on the back of your cards, the little elements in it can also work for the front of your card. Using Perfect Pearls, I added a fun pattern, using Chicken Wire. I really had to stop myself from using this pattern on all my cards. :) The sentiment comes from a set you'll see more of later this week.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out what everyone else has up their sleeves!

Love these, just like I love all your cards.

I especially like how the first card shows how you can use a quirky stamp like that rooster on a simple, non-themey card.

I can understand about "stop myself from using chicken wire on all my cards." How cool is that.
